The Director Information and Advice supports the strategic leadership of, and provides operational management to, the Information and Advice Branch. The Information and Advice Branch underpins sustainable development in the Northern Territory through provision of robust, consistent and timely scientific advice, development of suitable policy and strategic plans, and the development and maintenance of integrated and accessible information systems for biodiversity data. While working across the Branchâs portfolio, the Director will have a key role in overseeing the delivery of the Northern Territory Herbarium, ecosystem and vegetation mapping and spatial analysis programs and Biocultural knowledge initiatives.
