Payroll Analyst | Full-Time Permanent About the Company This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, analysing payroll data, improving processes, and ensuring payroll compliance and accuracy across a large workforce. About the Role As the Payroll Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the payroll function through detailed analysis, reporting, compliance monitoring, and payroll system administration. You will work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure payroll operations run efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Analyse payroll data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities Support the end-to-end payroll process across weekly, fortnightly, and/or monthly payrolls Ensure payroll processing is compliant with relevant Awards, EBAs, Fair Work legislation, and taxation requirements Reconcile payroll reports, superannuation, payroll tax, and leave balances Prepare and maintain payroll reporting, dashboards, and analytics for management Investigate and resolve payroll queries and complex payroll issues Assist with payroll audits and compliance reviews Support payroll system upgrades, testing, implementations, and process improvements Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee and payroll data integrity Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive payroll information Develop and document payroll procedures and process improvements Assist with EOFY processing, STP reporting, and other statutory obligations Skills & Experience Previous experience in a Payroll Analyst, Senior Payroll Officer, or Payroll Specialist position Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Awards, and compliance requirements Experience working within large or complex payroll environments Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis Experience with payroll system Dayforce essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
