The Role Our client in the agriculture and grain handling industry is seeking reliable Grain Handlers to join their operations team in Bellata, NSW. This role is suited to candidates who enjoy physically active, hands-on work within a fast-paced harvest environment. As a Grain Handler, you will support the safe handling, storage, and movement of grain products while assisting with machinery operation, quality monitoring, bunker management, and site maintenance. You will work closely with the broader operations team to ensure grain handling activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards. Key Responsibilities You will play an important role in supporting day-to-day grain handling operations while maintaining safety, grain quality, and operational efficiency throughout the harvest season. Operate grain handling equipment including elevators, augers, conveyors, loaders, and tractors Load and unload grain trucks and storage bins safely and efficiently Monitor grain quality and inspect for spoilage, contamination, or pest activity Conduct sample testing and assist with weighbridge operations Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory and movement records Carry out tarp work, sweeping, and shovelling of grain Assist with forming and maintaining grain bunkers Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and storage facilities Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Follow all workplace safety procedures and operational requirements Benefits Competitive pay rate of $32.31 per hour Opportunity for potentially ongoing employment Approximately 40-60 hours per week during busy harvest periods Hands-on role with a variety of operational and machinery duties Opportunity to gain valuable experience within the grain and agriculture industry Team-focused and safety-conscious workplace environment Exposure to a wide range of grain handling equipment and systems Your Skills & Experience Previous experience in grain handling, farming, or warehouse operations preferred Strong understanding of agricultural products and grain handling processes Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently Physically fit and capable of manual labour tasks in outdoor environments Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience with data entry and record keeping advantageous Familiarity with grain handling safety procedures and protocols Willingness to work extended hours during peak harvest operations Reliable work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
