HC Truck Driver | Metroll Toowoomba Metroll Toowoomba is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our operations team. Metroll manufactures and distributes high-quality metal building products and accessories to the commercial and residential construction industries across Australia. About the role Reporting to the Despatch Manager, you will be responsible for deliveries throughout the Toowoomba region and surrounding regional areas. This role offers a mix of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on operational support. Standard working hours are approximately 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday , with overtime opportunities available. Key duties Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers Assist with checking loads for accuracy and secure tie-down Operate a Hiab crane to unload products where required (training provided) Utilise systems to capture proof of delivery (POD) Complete daily pre-start vehicle and safety checks Support the wider operations team with alternate duties when required What we’re looking for Valid HC (Heavy Combination) Licence Strong focus on safety and customer service Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Good time management and communication skills Forklift licence and/or Hiab crane experience advantageous but not essential Reliable, punctual, and willing to assist across operations when needed What we offer Stable, full-time employment with consistent hours Opportunity for overtime Above award wages for high performers Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities Work with a respected Australian-owned business
