Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Smiths Lane are looking for an Assistant Educator to join our growing Smiths Lane, Clyde North centre working across the Toddler age group. You will work Permanent Part time (up to 37.5 hours per week, five days per week) and be flexible to work a rotating shift between 6.30am to 6.30pm. About the Centre Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Smith’s Lane is a new Aspire Centre in Clyde North. Situated in the heart of the growing Smith’s Lane Estate, the centre will support families in the community. The centre also faces a beautiful wetland area. The Opportunity & Responsibilities The roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Supporting children's learning and development, including contributing to the educational program and practice Assisting the delivery of an approved learning framework Developing positive relationships with children and families supporting the daily routines of children Complying with service policies and legislation About you Must hold Diploma or Certificate 3 in Education and Care Available to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate Why Aspire?
