With the potential for extension, this is a great chance to secure a long-term role in a supportive and structured team environment. About the Role Sitting within the Workforce and Organisational Development team, you'll play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of weekly payroll for a large workforce. Day-to-day you'll be across timesheet checking, processing leave applications, responding to staff and third-party payroll enquiries, and preparing end-of-month reports to deductible authorities — all in a fast-paced council environment. Key selection criteria: Demonstrated payroll experience, ideally within local government or a large public sector organisation Exposure to UKG and/or Empower payroll systems highly regarded Sound knowledge of relevant awards, legislation, and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities The Details Civic Centre, Penrith (2750) $45.79 per hour superannuation Immediate start through to 25 September 2026, with potential for extension If interested, please apply.
