About the Role As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial operations. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone looking to develop their technical accounting skills while contributing to a purpose‑driven organisation that empowers independent pharmacies across Australia. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and collaborate across the business to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and ongoing financial health. Role & Responsibilities Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and complete month‑end balance sheet reconciliations. Conduct monthly variance analysis and support the annual budgeting process. Assist with reviewing and improving financial processes and internal controls. Support ad hoc commercial and analytical reporting for business stakeholders. Assist with corporate tax compliance including GST, FBT and income tax, and support the annual audit. Build strong internal and external working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Skills & Experience 1-2 years' experience in an accounting position Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Ability to analyse financial information and present insights clearly. Strong communication skills and a proactive, "can‑do" approach. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
