G.James NSW Glass Operations , located in Smithfield , is seeking a Part-Time Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator (24 hours per week) to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on driving safety compliance, continuous improvement, and promoting a strong safety culture across our manufacturing operations. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with leaders and employees across the site to ensure high safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining WHS records including incidents, training, licences, risk assessments, and audits Coordinating safety committees and driving safety initiatives Managing hazardous substances, SDS, emergency procedures, and drills Conducting site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks Supporting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions Delivering inductions and coordinating ongoing WHS training Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, standards, and company policies Monitoring WHS performance and supporting continuous improvement Liaising with injury management providers and external stakeholders About You Experience in a WHS role within manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles Excellent organisational and administrative skills Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail What We Offer Competitive salary (pro-rata for part-time hours) Company mobile phone Ongoing support from a national WHS team Career development opportunities across the G.James Group Free on-site parking BUPA health insurance discount (7%) Employee Assistance Program (TELUS Health) Apply Now If you have the skills and experience to succeed in this role, we encourage you to apply with your resume and cover letter.
