Indigeco is proud to be partnering with one of Australia’s most trusted and nationally recognised insurance providers to appoint a CTP Claims Advisor to their Brisbane CBD team. This full-time, permanent role will focus on lawyer-represented CTP claims, where you will manage a portfolio of claims and work closely with plaintiff lawyers, barristers and internal stakeholders to progress matters effectively. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage an allocated portfolio of CTP claims end to end, with a focus on claims where customers are legally represented Communicate professionally with plaintiff lawyers, barristers and other legal representatives to progress claims efficiently Assess liability, review medical and legal documentation, and make evidence-based recommendations on claim strategies and outcomes Start with lower-severity claims while building capability to progress into more complex and higher-severity matters Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure claims are managed in line with legislation, compliance obligations and internal policy Maintain accurate claim records, correspondence and file notes to support defensible decision making Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and supporting strong claims management practices YOUR REQUIREMENTS Experience in CTP claims, personal injury claims, workers’ compensation or broader insurance claims will be highly regarded Legal experience will also be strongly considered, including paralegal, legal secretary, legal administrator or law firm file management backgrounds Confidence communicating with lawyers, barristers and other legal representatives in a professional and clear manner Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a busy claims portfolio Strong analytical skills with the ability to review medical, legal and claim documentation and make sound recommendations A proactive, resilient and professional approach, with genuine interest in developing within CTP and personal injury claims Ability to work from the Brisbane CBD office during the initial training period before moving to a hybrid model YOUR PERKS Annual salary of $100K inclusive of super Hybrid working after the initial training period, usually 2 days in office and the remainder from home Clear career pathway into more complex CTP claims and Senior Claims Advisor opportunities Opportunity to build a long-term career with a large, nationally recognised insurance provider HOW TO APPLY If you have experience in claims, personal injury, legal administration or law firm support and are interested in developing your career in CTP claims, we would love to hear from you!
