Kalkoup Community Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our close-knit team providing in-home care for a child with complex medical needs. This role is perfect for a nurse who wants to use their specialist tracheostomy skills and paediatric experience to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a calm home environment while being supported by a small, connected, nurse-led team that values flexibility, wellbeing and balance. We are currently looking for two nurses who can cover the below shifts (with the option to take on more, if desired) Afternoon Shift (4pm – 9pm) Thursday and (1pm – 5pm) Saturday Night Shift (10pm – 8am) Saturday Day Shift (9am – 5pm) Sunday About the role You’ll provide specialised clinical support for a child living with complex medical needs, including: Tracheostomy management (suctioning, tube changes, and airway emergencies) Seizure response and medication administration Enteral feeding (PEG) and monitoring Oxygen therapy and respiratory support Accurate and timely shift documentation Who we’re looking for Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year of paediatric acute or community experience Confident and skilled in tracheostomy care – this is essential Experience with seizure management, PEG feeding, and oxygen therapy Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011), WWCC, National Police Clearance, WA Driver’s Licence Someone caring, calm under pressure, and great at communicating with families What we offer Above-Award pay rates – we recognise your skill and dedication A small, supportive and genuinely connected team that values collaboration Ongoing paid clinical training Access to senior nurses and CNC support, including after hour Employee Assistance Program (EAP) The chance to build deep, meaningful relationships with families and make a lasting impact Interested?
