Tonitto Cakes is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Shellharbour, NSW. We are looking for someone passionate, reliable, and skilled in preparing high-quality cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked products. Key Duties The successful applicant will be responsible for: Preparing, baking, and decorating cakes, pastries, desserts, and other bakery products Measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and production requirements Preparing fillings, creams, icings, glazes, and decorations Ensuring all products are prepared to a high standard of quality, taste, and presentation Operating bakery and pastry equipment safely and efficiently Monitoring baking times, temperatures, and product consistency Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area in line with food safety standards Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage Supporting menu development and seasonal product ideas Working closely with the team to meet daily production requirements Requirements Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery, Patisserie, Baking, or similar At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role Strong knowledge of cake, pastry, and dessert preparation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and presentation skills Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and busy periods when required Benefits Full-time stable employment Supportive and friendly team environment Opportunity to work with a well-established cake and pastry business Career growth and skill development opportunities Competitive salary package How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant pastry chef experience.
