Workshop Manager – Kalgoorlie DM3 Logistics DM3 Logistics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our busy maintenance operations at our Kalgoorlie facility . This is a Monday to Friday role , overseeing a team operating on 12-hour shifts , and responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, tyre bay, and wash bay . About the Facility & Fleet Our Kalgoorlie site features a modern, well-equipped workshop including: 14,000sqm premises 1,200sqm enclosed workshop 2,000sqm concreted, hardstand work areas 4 maintenance bays 2 service pits Dedicated tyre bay and wash bay SLP bay planned You will be responsible for maintaining approximately 90 pieces of road registered equipment from prime movers to trailers and dollies, while leading a team of approximately 10 workshop personnel . About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all workshop operations and personnel. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient running of the workshop, tyre bay, and wash bay , while maintaining high safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across the workshop, tyre bay, and wash bay Supervise all mechanical work and workshop staff Ensure all servicing and repairs are completed on time and to standard Maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency Oversee maintenance schedules and forward planning Uphold and enforce safety standards and risk assessments Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed to schedule Monitor quality of materials, equipment, and workmanship Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating where required About You Proven experience managing a transport or heavy vehicle workshop Strong leadership and team management skills Solid planning and organisational ability Commitment to safety and compliance Experience with maintenance management systems Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Desirable: Experience with Fuel Tankers Mechanical / Diesel / Electrical trade qualification MC Licence Working at Heights / EWP What We Offer Monday to Friday role Leadership opportunity Responsibility for a team of 10 workshop staff Modern facilities and late-model fleet Company vehicle Supportive team environment
