We are currently partnering with a growing community-based NDIS provider to recruit three Behaviour Support Practitioners to join their expanding team across Sydney's Inner West and South West regions. These opportunities are ideal for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners, or candidates with suitable registration pathways, particularly those with previous experience working as an ABA Therapist or within behavioural intervention settings who are ready to take the next step in their career. About the Role Working within a community-based setting, you will support NDIS participants by developing and delivering evidence-based behavioural support strategies that improve quality of life, promote independence, and support community participation. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to provide tailored interventions aligned with individual NDIS goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments and develop individualised Behaviour Support Plans Design, implement and evaluate evidence-based positive behaviour support strategies Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals while promoting independence and community inclusion Collaborate closely with families, carers, support networks and other allied health professionals Deliver services within NDIS funding parameters and ensure appropriate service delivery outcomes Maintain accurate case notes, reporting and required administrative documentation Ensure services align with NDIS Practice Standards and quality compliance requirements Participate in ongoing professional development and remain current with industry best practice Provide supervision, training and support to assistants, students or team members when required What We're Looking For Registered or suitably registered Behaviour Support Practitioner status (or working toward registration pathways) Previous experience as an ABA Therapist or within behavioural support/intervention roles highly regarded Strong understanding of the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework Knowledge of restrictive practice regulations and best practice behavioural intervention strategies Experience supporting individuals living with disability and understanding the broader impact on families and carers Strong understanding of strengths-based practice and least restrictive intervention models Experience supporting needs related to daily living, social integration, sensory regulation and mental health management Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle essential due to community-based travel requirements Why Consider This Opportunity?
