We are currently seeking rebar MIG Welders for a busy precast column and panel manufacturing facility in Pakenham! About the job: - MIG Welding steel rebar to create cage structures such as (Pile cages, D-Walls and columns) - Essentially Tack welding - Reading plans and drawings to create various cage structures. - Use of hand and power tools. - Co-ordinating with steelfixers, labourers and management. - Using overhead cranes to load and move stock. - Setting up jigs for welding. About you: - Available Monday to Friday - Previous MIG Welding experience is required - Able to interpret plans and drawings to create a final product. - Previous experience in a precast environment is heavily considered - Able to work solo and as part of a team - Full Australian working rights If this position interests you, APPLY NOW!
