MANAWISE Care is growing, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a casual basis, with strong opportunities to transition into permanent part-time roles as we continue expanding across the Gold Coast. About the Role You will be working across our Gold Coast residential homes, currently located in Pimpama and Oxenford , with a new home opening soon in Coomera . There are also exciting opportunities to support additional homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand. As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures. Key Responsibilities • Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment • Build strong, positive relationships with young people • Support emotional, social, and life skill development • Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing • Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans • Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports Essential Requirements • Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field • Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class) • Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it) • First Aid & CPR certification • Availability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends) • Current Paid Blue Card • National Police Check (within 6 months) • Ability to obtain LCS check • Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed) Why Join MANAWISE? • Start casually with clear pathways to permanent employment • Be part of a growing organisation with new residentials opening • Join a supportive, values-driven team • Access ongoing training and professional development • Make a lasting impact in young people’s lives About MANAWISE MANAWISE is committed to working together to create connected, caring, and thriving communities.
