About the role VIC State Sales Leader – Parental Leave Cover About the Opportunity - CT VIC State Sales Leader An exciting and rare opportunity to join the Corporate Traveller Sales leadership team awaits! As VIC State Sales Leader you will lead Corporate Traveller in the state. You will be responsible for acquiring new corporate travel business, ensuring Corporate Travellers products and services are sold as a compelling financial and operational offering. Your primary goals will be to drive TTV growth, commission transfer and profitability for your state. This fantastic role will report directly into the CT Head of Sales & sideways to VIC State General Manager. As one of our role model BDMs you will acquire new corporate travel business in accordance with set targets. Deliver on your team wins and New Business Income (NBI) targets by EOFY. Implement strategies and processes to develop corporate relationships with key decision makers in organisations, creating new sales opportunities via means of corporate networking, client profiling, cold calling. Present Corporate Traveller products and services in a compelling financial and operational offering to ensure maximisation of client travel spend and CT profitability. Your responsibilities as a VIC State Sales Leader will include: Sit on State SWOT Project Management & Business Planning Ensure CRM data integrity management Joint appointments with team across both brands Run regular training workshops and upskilling sessions Work closely with SDR team, marketing, account management, state GM Work in conjunction with the National Inside Sales Leader to drive SDR performance Manage and drive the state business growth strategy for Corporate Traveller Manage own pipeline, activities, BDM results, lead from front in TTV results, wins and conversion Lead and develop the BDM teams in your state including hiring, training, motivating and providing ongoing professional development opportunities for these team members Managing day to day performance of the BDM team including tracking and maintaining accountability to weekly and monthly KPI targets and other business plan objectives Conduct weekly internal meetings and attend ongoing meetings with BDM and Leadership Teams Align new business to the correct brand including allocation of SDR meetings to BDM Team, organic growth opportunities and RFP allocation Work with Head of Sales and SSL Team on the competitive market strategy for Corporate Traveller Run all business planning and strategy meetings for the state sales team including Planning Days and Funnel Reviews with all BDMs To be successful in this role you will need: Passion for developing others Strong business and commercial acumen Excellent written and verbal communication Proven track record of achieving new business acquisition targets Extensive knowledge of our industry, our business and the requirements of the BDM role Leadership experience - proven ability to inspire and drive a team to achieve results Extensive networking experience to develop external industry relationships What we’re looking for 2 year experience working in a BDM role, heavily focused on B2B Sales/Development or experience working in a Leadership role within the Travel & Tourism sector What’s in it for you?
