Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Carry out charging of development and production rounds in line with mine plans Safely handle, transport, and store explosives in accordance with site and legislative requirements Conduct pre- and post-charge inspections to ensure compliance and safety Work closely with Supervisors, Jumbo Operators, and Underground crews Maintain accurate blast records and documentation Identify and report hazards, risks, and non-compliance issues Contribute to a strong safety-first culture underground Qualifications Requirements Current UHL (Underground Hard Rock Licence) Current BUEL (NSW Shotfirer Ticket) – Essential Proven experience as a Charge-Up Operator in underground mining Strong understanding of production and development charging practices Commitment to safety, teamwork, and high performance
