We're looking for a reliable, hands-on tradesperson to join our team and contribute to a wide range of overhaul, repair, and assembly projects across multiple sectors. About our client Provide's specialist overhaul and maintenance services to the Steelmaking, Paper, and Mining industries. Our workshop handles a broad variety of rotating and mechanical equipment, backed by a team of down-to-earth tradesmen who work independently but never hesitate to lend a hand. What You'll Work On You'll be involved in the overhaul, repair, and assembly of: Gearboxes, pumps, driveshafts & conveyor pulleys Bearing installations & rotating equipment Fans, impellers, rolls, shaft assemblies Crushers, hammer mills & similar machinery Brand new slurry pump assembly Flame hardening (heat treatment) Dynamic balancing of various components Workshop Equipment You'll have access to a fully equipped workshop, including: Manual lathes Manual mills Radial arm drill Surface grinder Hydraulic presses Dynamic balancing machine What We're Looking For We're seeking a Fitter who has: Experience in any of the above areas of heavy industrial equipment Strong mechanical sense and practical problem‑solving skills Good judgement, initiative, and life skills A positive attitude and ability to work well within a friendly team Reliability and pride in workmanship Why Join Us?
