Legal Assistant – Litigation & Commercial | Melbourne CBD We are seeking a junior to intermediate, motivated Legal Assistant to join a high-performing legal team within a leading professional services environment based in Melbourne CBD. This is a varied and fast-paced role providing end-to-end legal administrative support across litigation and commercial matters. You will work closely with fee earners and clients to ensure the smooth delivery of legal services and high-quality matter management. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will be responsible for a broad range of legal support tasks, including: Managing diaries, inboxes, client communications, and general enquiries Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents, correspondence, and contracts Assisting with court documents and filing processes, including online court systems Opening, closing, and maintaining matters, including conflict checks and file management Time recording, billing support, and processing expenses and invoices Document control, archiving, and general file administration Supporting fee earners with workflow coordination and deadlines You will need to be comfortable managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
