What you’ll be doing Perform triage and emergency patient assessment Assist with critical care, diagnostics & procedures Monitor anaesthesia and surgical cases Deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalised ECC patients Support vets in managing complex and urgent cases Provide clear, compassionate communication to pet owners Expect exposure to varied and high-acuity cases, from trauma and токс cases to GDVs, snake bites and more. What we’re looking for Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing Minimum 2 years clinical experience (ECC highly regarded) Confidence working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible availability (PPT is a variety of shifts across the weeknights, early mornings, overnights, and weekends. Casual is weeknight evenings between 1800-2200 or mornings 0400-0830, weekends (day, evening, and night shifts available) and the occasional overnight.) Own transport (required for shift work) Highly desirable: ECC experience Recover CPR / Fear Free certification Experience with Smartflow, IDEXX, Vision PMS Why join AES Canberra?
