With a strong pipeline of projects across Sydney and regional NSW, they continue to build their reputation for delivering practical, technically sound solutions to complex building and infrastructure challenges. As a result of ongoing growth, they are seeking an experienced Remedial, Structural, Façade or Forensic Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, investigative work, and seeing projects through from diagnosis to remediation. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of buildings and structures while working closely with experienced industry professionals. The Opportunity In this role, you'll be involved in the investigation, assessment, design and remediation of a broad range of structural and building-related issues across residential, commercial, industrial and strata assets. The work is highly varied and offers a unique blend of site investigations, technical reporting, design development, client interaction and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Undertake detailed building inspections, condition assessments and structural investigations Diagnose structural, façade, waterproofing and building envelope defects Prepare high-quality engineering reports, technical assessments and expert opinion reports Develop practical remediation strategies and engineering solutions Prepare and review remedial design documentation and specifications Collaborate with drafting teams to produce compliant design drawings Manage projects through investigation, design, tender and construction phases Liaise directly with clients, contractors, strata managers, legal representatives and other stakeholders Monitor remediation works and ensure quality project outcomes Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the ongoing growth of the business About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering Experience within remedial engineering, forensic engineering, façade engineering, structural assessment, building diagnostics or related fields Strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and remedial design principles Excellent report writing and technical communication skills Experience preparing defect reports, condition assessments and remediation recommendations Strong stakeholder management and client-facing abilities Design Practitioner registration (or eligibility) under the NSW Design & Building Practitioners Act will be highly regarded Full Australian working rights and a current driver's licence What's On Offer Join a growing specialist consultancy with an excellent reputation in the market Exposure to a broad range of technically challenging remedial, forensic and façade projects Strong mentoring from experienced senior engineers and directors Genuine career progression opportunities as the business continues to expand Flexible working arrangements, combining office, site and work-from-home options Collaborative, supportive team culture with a focus on professional development Competitive salary package tailored to your experience and expertise Whether your background is in remedial engineering, façade consulting, forensic investigations or structural assessment, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your experience, work on complex projects and accelerate your long-term career growth.
