With a committed Board and dynamic executive team, this organisation plays a significant role in working alongside members to build capacity and advocate on their behalf on issues that impact their operations and people who access their services. The primary services that members deliver are community mental health services, and therefore this organisation has a deep knowledge of contemporary mental health issues, particularly regarding service provision and the impacts on people with mental illness, their families and carers. With a strong team delivering excellent operational performance, there is ample scope in this peak body to deepen all important relationships. Governments, funders, member groups and many others offer significant opportunities for a dynamic leader-advocate to shape the next phase of impact for this essential organisation.
