About the Role In this role, you’ll design and build scalable lakehouse solutions, develop reliable data pipelines, and deliver high-quality data products that support analytics and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory. Develop scalable lakehouse architectures using ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake. Build, optimise, and support data models and workloads in Azure SQL Manage CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code practices using Azure DevOps. Partner with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing data products. Drive best practices across data quality, observability, testing, and documentation. Contribute to architecture decisions, tooling selection, and platform improvements. Required Skills & Experience: Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture, OneLake, and notebooks. Experience designing and maintaining data lake solutions using ADLS Gen2 and Delta Lake. Proven capability building and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory. Strong Azure SQL skills, including data modelling, optimisation, and T-SQL development. Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Git workflows using Azure DevOps. Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Strong understanding of data quality, observability, and engineering best practices. Nice to Have: Experience building or integrating AI agents and autonomous workflows. Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows using GitHub Copilot. Exposure to prompt engineering and AI-driven code generation practices.
