VR GP - Very Attractive Offer for a centre operated by a GP-led multiple award winning operator Full-time VR GP opportunity in a new DPA/MMM1 Canberra practice, with team support, clinical autonomy, relocation support and strong earning potential. Next Practice Community – South Tuggeranong is seeking a full-time VR General Practitioner to join the founding clinical team of a new, modern community general practice in Canberra. Opening in June 2026, the practice has been commissioned with grant funding from the Commonwealth Department of Health via the PHN to provide accessible, high-quality primary care for the South Tuggeranong community. The centre is located in a DPA / MMM1 setting. This is an opportunity to help shape a new practice from the beginning, supported by the established and award-recognised Next Practice Deakin team. The model is clinically led, team-supported and designed around good medicine, continuity, professional fulfilment and sustainable practice.GPs will retain clinical autonomy while being supported by full-time nursing, nurse practitioner support, patient advocates, allied health links, digital workflows and senior clinical mentorship. The practice will use Best Practice and a warp around digital ecosystem to support quality improvement, recall systems, panel management, optimal billing, chronic disease care and business intelligence. Responsible use of AI documentation tools will also be encouraged. The role will suit a GP who values broad family medicine with the opportunity to develop special interests in clinical or non-clinical areas. Commercial arrangements are designed to be fair, transparent and attractive. The standard starting point is 70% of billings, with flexibility for exceptional candidates, inaugural doctors and GPs bringing strategic value.
