This opportunity is ideal for apprentices who already have hand-on experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work and are looking to further develop their sills. You will be working on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), gaining exposure to modern electrical infrastructure, technology driven systems, and networking components, with long-term career development opportunities. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Current progression as a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice • Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work • Strong interest or capability in IT systems, communications, or networking • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport • Current White Card (or willingness to obtain) • LVR/CPR certification (current or willing to renew) • Exemplar profiling up to date • Ability to work day and night shifts (penalties apply) Key Capabilities • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills • Ability to work both independently and within a team • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Comfortable working at heights and across multiple sites • Willingness to travel to local depots and attend TAFE Additional Requirements • Ability to provide two professional references • Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing Desirable (Not Essential) • Certificate II in Electrotechnology • Exposure to domestic and/or commercial electrical work Who We Are Community Solutions employs apprentices and trainees across Queensland and places them with host employers in real workplaces.
