I am currently working with a leading international construction contractor - part of a major global engineering group - with a strong delivery track record across Australia, New Zealand and the wider region. Their work spans the civil sector, including roads, rail, tunnelling, defence and building. This is one of Western Australia's most significant aviation infrastructure programs, a major airfield package, part of a multi-million-dollar investment. Description Reporting to the Procurement Manager, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Preparing accurate, timely cost reports - including forecasts and variance analysis Reconciling weekly wage and plant costs against the correct cost codes, ensuring alignment with recorded site hours and cost data reporting Establishing and maintaining contract rates across all resource classes within the project's cost system Partnering with Area Managers, Project Engineers and Accounts to investigate and resolve discrepancies, and providing additional cost analysis as required Supporting effective cost control through ongoing monitoring and continuous process improvement Profile The ideal applicant: Proven experience managing multiple procurement packages Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications CIPS (or equivalent) accreditation - advantageos, though not essential Developed tender scope and interpreted work packages Confident decision-making, with sound negotiation and influencing ability Feel free to reach out directly to: Max Manning Consultant – Procurement & Commercial mmanning@fourquarters.com.au
