Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to participants at home and in the community. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across all aspects of daily living and community life, and must be comfortable around dogs. Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks Support community access and social participation, including social and recreational venues Follow and contribute to an active Positive Behavior Support plan Maintain consistent routines that support participant well-being Monitor and document health and well-being observations Assist with appointments, transport and community outings Communicate clearly with the support team and management Qualifications: Current or willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening clearance (WA) Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), or working towards Valid Australian driver’s license and own reliable vehicle Current First Aid & CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain Experience supporting people with psycho-social or complex disability Strong de-escalation skills and a calm, non-reactive manner Comfortable around dogs Experience within a Positive Behavior Support framework Knowledge of the NDIS Code of Conduct and reporting obligations Flexibility to work casual hours, including evenings and weekends.
