Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Kyneton, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and quality of our building and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess mid to senior-level experience in welding, contributing to the successful completion of various construction tasks while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks on various materials including steel, aluminium, and other metals as required. Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Welder, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the building and construction industry. Relevant welding certifications (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) are highly desirable. Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
