ABOUT THE ROLE An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced transactional lawyer to join a highly regarded finance and restructuring team. This role focuses on complex restructuring, refinancing and strategic advisory matters, working with a broad range of stakeholders on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions. The practice is transaction-focused and offers exposure to challenging commercial situations, distressed opportunities and business transformation matters, rather than traditional litigation-based insolvency work. You will: Advise on corporate restructures, refinancing and recapitalisation transactions Draft and negotiate a range of finance and restructuring documentation Work on debt restructures, turnaround initiatives and business recovery matters Assist with strategic stakeholder negotiations and transaction execution Advise on governance, risk and restructuring options in complex commercial environments Support acquisitions, disposals and investment transactions involving distressed or special situations assets Collaborate with clients and advisers to deliver commercially focused outcomes ABOUT YOU You will have: At least 5 years' post-admission experience in restructuring, finance, corporate or related transactional practice areas Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex commercial transactions A sound understanding of finance, corporate and restructuring principles Excellent commercial judgement and a pragmatic approach to problem solving The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders Experience managing matters in fast-paced and time-sensitive environments A desire to work closely with clients and contribute to a collaborative team culture BENEFITS Exposure to sophisticated and high-value transactions Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility Collaborative and supportive team environment Strong mentoring and professional development opportunities Clear long-term career progression pathways Opportunity to work alongside highly regarded practitioners on market-leading matters
