Position Details Job Title: ICT Systems Support and Test Engineer Location: Darwin, NT 0822 Employment Type: Full-time permanent Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 per annum (plus superannuation) Working Hours: 38 hours per week About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT professional to join a dynamic and expanding modular construction business in Darwin. Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of modular homes at its Darwin facility, with completed modules transported and installed at destinations across the Northern Territory and beyond. The business also delivers large-scale environmental and waste management services under long-term contracts with major government and industry clients. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain support procedures and strategies for the company's ICT systems, networks, operating systems, ERP platform and business applications across the manufacturing facility and remote project sites. Analyse, evaluate and diagnose technical problems and issues including installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email, databases, operating systems and security systems. Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving system problems and performance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Assist in organisational systems architecture reviews and assessments, and contribute recommendations on current and future hardware and software strategies aligned with business requirements. Provide specialist support, configuration and administration for the company's ERP system, ensuring integration across financial management, procurement, contracts and project management functions. Test, identify and diagnose functionality errors and faults in systems and business applications within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure systems perform to specification. Schedule and conduct quality audit inspections of ICT systems, data and documentation, and identify variations and potential high-risk areas to ensure adherence to organisational standards and procedures. Recommend corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with ICT standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures. Provide support and troubleshooting for the company's network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN connections and wireless systems across the facility and remote NT sites, escalating complex network architecture issues as required. Manage and support end-user accounts, access provisioning and system lifecycle across all company locations. Skills and Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an ICT support engineering or closely related role Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field (or equivalent) Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems across hardware, software and network environments Experience supporting ERP systems and ICT infrastructure in a multi-site or operational business environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
