PMO Manager / Senior IT Project Coordinator - Global Banking Organisation | Sydney CBD | Hybrid Are you a highly organised IT Project Coordinator or PMO Manager who thrives on ownership, accountability and getting things done? We're partnering with a leading global banking organisation seeking a Senior IT Project Coordinator to join their Asia Pacific technology team. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you'll be the central coordination point across a portfolio of infrastructure, cyber security, regulatory and technology initiatives. This is a highly visible role within a lean team where you'll work directly with senior stakeholders, drive project outcomes and ensure initiatives remain on track. It's ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative and can confidently operate without constant direction. The Role As the sole project resource within the Sydney technology team, you'll play a pivotal role in building and enhancing project governance, reporting and delivery frameworks while helping mature technology project practices across the organisation. Coordinate multiple concurrent technology projects and workstreams Produce clear, concise reporting for senior leadership and stakeholders Track project schedules, risks, dependencies and key deliverables Facilitate project meetings and ensure actions are followed through Maintain governance documentation, RAID logs and project controls Coordinate vendors, technology teams and business stakeholders Support budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders and invoice tracking Assist with infrastructure and technology procurement activities Present project updates and delivery status to senior stakeholders About You Experience as an IT Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst / Manager or similar delivery-focused role Banking, Financial Services or Trading industry experience is essential Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder management skills Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and executives Understanding of technology environments, infrastructure and IT project delivery Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance and approval processes within regulated environments Highly organised with the ability to prioritise competing demands Confident working independently and taking ownership of outcomes Practical, solutions-focused and able to research and resolve issues before escalating Why Join?
