Position Overview We are looking for a full-time Legal Researcher to undertake in-depth legal research and provide analytical support to solicitors. This role aligns with ANZSCO skill expectations for legal research-focused positions, requiring strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply legislation, case law, and legal principles within the firm's areas of practice. Key Duties and Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research on legislation, case law, and regulatory frameworks relevant to active matters Analyse legal issues and prepare written research memoranda, briefs, and summaries for solicitors Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including court documents, submissions, and correspondence Review and interpret statutes, regulations, and legal precedents to support case strategies Monitor changes in legislation and legal developments relevant to the firm's practice areas Organise and maintain legal research materials, case files, and internal knowledge resources Liaise with solicitors to clarify research requirements and provide timely, accurate findings Support case preparation, including discovery processes and evidence review Ensure all research and documentation complies with legal standards and confidentiality requirements Skills and Experience Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification At least 2-3 years' demonstrated experience in legal research Strong understanding of Australian legal systems and research methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in legal research databases and Microsoft Office Suite Personal Attributes Professional, reliable, and highly organised Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality What We Offer Full-time, stable employment Supportive team environment Exposure to diverse legal matters Convenient Subiaco location Salary: $77,000 to $100,000per annum superannuation Should you be qualified, please send you application ASAP!
