We welcome applications from both developing technicians and experienced senior staff looking to contribute to a high-quality, team-focused service. These roles are responsible for the reprocessing and management of reusable medical and surgical instruments to ensure safe, timely, and compliant service delivery across the organisation. Positions are available across Grade 3 to Grade 5 levels, with responsibilities and leadership expectations aligned to experience and classification. Grade 3–4 Responsibilities Perform cleaning, disinfection, inspection, assembly, sterilisation (autoclaving), and distribution of instruments and equipment Adhere to infection control standards and CSSD best practices Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and handling of sterile stock Work collaboratively within a team to meet service demands Additional Grade 5 Responsibilities Operate with a high level of autonomy and accountability Support day-to-day supervision of CSSD staff Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to team members Assist with performance management processes Contribute to orientation and onboarding of new staff Promote continuous quality improvement and compliance with standards About you You will demonstrate: Relevant qualification or training in Sterilisation Services (or willingness to obtain) Experience in CSSD (level dependent on grade applying for) Sound knowledge of infection prevention and sterilisation standards Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team For Grade 5: proven leadership capability and mentoring experience Culture and Benefits Dhelkaya Health is located on Dja Dja Wurrung country in regional Victoria.
