With their recent expansion into Melbourne, a new opportunity has been created for a highly capable Senior Interior Designer with broadly based design and delivery skills. You will ideally have around 10 years of experience in the industry, although we encourage applications from those with 8 years and above, especially if you have a background in D&C or have worked on commercial spaces in an Interior Design consultancy. This role is perfect for someone keen to be involved across all stages of a project from initial client meetings and engagement through to completion. You’ll have the chance to hone your client liaison skills and evolve collaboratively, as you work closely with the Project Management and Construction teams. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects across different stages, end to end Work with clients to develop project-specific conceptual narratives Exceptional capacity to present and pitch to clients and stakeholders Space planning, workplace strategy and analysis Prepare detailed documentation and working drawing sets Essential Skills Strong portfolio of commercial experience, including refurbs and revitalisations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Customer focused, solutions-oriented approach Strong understanding of front-end process and client relations Solid test fitting skills Understanding of construction, buildability, documentation and costing and value management processes Able to manage and lead a team, but also work independently Proficient on Revit, Enscape and industry-standard design software Excellent knowledge and understanding of building codes Located in the heart of the CBD, this friendly and upbeat studio is in a phase of growth, and they’re keen to engage a talented, likeminded professional.
