Technical Business Analyst Rate: $700 per day (including super) Contract Length: 6 months About the Role Work with a team delivering cybersecurity and security engineering initiatives to support secure operations and help reduce enterprise risk. You'll analyse, document, and translate both business and technical requirements to enable delivery across areas such as security data, threat detection, and automation. You'll partner with security engineering teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align to business objectives, regulatory expectations, and governance requirements-while supporting delivery in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end business analysis for cybersecurity-related initiatives Produce and maintain requirements artefacts, including BRDs, FRS, and a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) Facilitate Agile delivery activities, such as Sprint Planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test tracking and defect triage Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and ensure requirements clarity across business and technical teams Contribute to governance and reporting, including risk registers, dashboards, and executive-level updates Partner with delivery teams to ensure projects land on time, in scope, and to quality standards Key Skills Required: Recent experience leading and managing projects end-to-end across ICT, Telecommunications, or Cybersecurity Demonstrated experience delivering cybersecurity and/or security engineering projects Strong executive stakeholder management and communication, including reporting to senior leadership Proven ability to operate in cross-functional / matrix environments Strong capability in financial forecasting and project reporting Nice to Have: Experience with security engineering or cybersecurity delivery in a telecommunications or telco-like environment Exposure to security data platforms and/or SIEM/SOAR or threat detection/automation projects Experience supporting C-level / senior management engagement Change management experience Technical workshop facilitation experience Background with test design and UAT support How to Apply If you're a Technical Business Analyst with strong cybersecurity delivery experience and Agile capability, we'd love to hear from you.
