Overview Australian Institute of Training Solutions (AITS – part of the Xanadu Group) is expanding its training team and is seeking an experienced First Aid Trainer to support the delivery of nationally recognised First Aid training programs that are practical, engaging and compliant with RTO and regulatory standards. Additionally, trainers who hold Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging & Disability) are strongly encouraged to apply. Disability and aged care capability is highly regarded and will be considered a strong advantage for this role. This role supports the delivery of high‑quality training that builds safe, capable and inclusive workforces. You will work with diverse learners and adapt your delivery style to meet a range of learning needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and compliant First Aid training, including practical simulations and assessments Use clear, inclusive communication strategies for diverse learners Facilitate hands‑on practice, role‑plays and real‑world scenarios Create a safe, supportive and professional learning environment Maintain accurate training, assessment and compliance records Ensure training delivery aligns with RTO Standards and WHS requirements Manage training materials and resources Act as a point of contact for learners and clients regarding training delivery Key Selection Criteria Essential Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification Current First Aid and CPR qualifications Accredited First Aid Trainer Experience delivering First Aid training Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of professionalism and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management and flexibility Availability to work weekdays and weekends as required Ability to comply with organisational policies and systems Desirable (Highly Regarded) Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging & Disability) Other Requirements National Police Clearance Current Driver’s Licence Right to work in Australia Why Join AITS?
