The Role We’re opening a NEW STORE and looking for Junior Frontends and Retail Assistants! Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment? At Spudshed, we’re looking for motivated team members who are eager to learn, provide great customer service, and be part of a supportive team. This role includes on-the-job training to help you build your skills and confidence in a busy checkout environment. You’ll play an important part in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, while developing valuable retail experience. “Casual to begin with but could lead to a permanent position.” Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Serving customers at the checkout in a friendly and efficient manner Handling cash and card transactions accurately Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area Assisting customers with questions or directing them to the right team member Restocking items near the checkout area when required Following store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines Working as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly during busy periods Skills & Experience Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude Willingness to learn and take direction Good communication skills Reliable and punctual Able to work in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive approach To succeed in this role, you will need to work well within a team, be adaptable, and confidently follow instructions.
