(Pro Rata) AHP3| Fulltime - Ongoing Position Available Shape Acute Care At A Leading SA Hospital! The Senior Physiotherapist role at Noarlunga Hospital provides assessment, intervention and management of patients presenting to the General Medical Ward, Surgical Specialty Unit and the Emergency Department as well as specialised consultation and skills to patients with age related diagnoses and patients with cognitive impairment. The Senior Physiotherapist will manage a case load of patients including patients with more complex needs, providing specialised clinical services to assist patient flow as required. The incumbent is accountable for all aspects of the physiotherapy team function and promotes and supports the inter-disciplinary approach in the unit. In particular, the Senior Physiotherapist at Noarlunga Hospital will explore opportunities for collaboration with General Medical Ward, Surgical Specialty Unit and the Emergency Department, GEM, other Acute service providers, General Practitioners, Primary Care providers, and community based services About you: Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective networks with key stakeholders Be flexible, adaptive and responsive to change, aligning with key organisational priorities particularly in an environment with competing demands and changing service partners Extensive experience in the provision of clinical Physiotherapy services to clients with a broad range of illnesses and disabilities relevant to an acute medical and surgical area, in particular clients with complex needs and the older person Ability to be innovative and enterprising in relation to problem solving and planning.
