We're looking for an experienced Foreperson - Mechanical to join our dynamic team and lead site-based Industrial operations across a variety of exciting projects. As a key member of our team, you’ll supervise and guide crews, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards — particularly within maritime and industrial environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate daily activities of the team on-site. Supervise personnel, apprentices, and subcontractors. Support training and development of apprentices and contractors. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all work activities. Maintain clear communication with site supervisors and project teams. Manage tools, PPE, and site resources in line with safety policies. Undertake fabrication and welding duties as needed. Contribute to a clean, safe, and productive work environment. Essential Criteria: Trade certificate or equivalent training & the necessary skills & experience. Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience. Ability to work across multiple sites as required. Strong communication and basic leadership skills. Reasonable level of physical fitness and mobility. White Card (Construction Induction). Ability to work in remote locations when required. Able to work at heights or in confined spaces Adherence to Fitness for Work policies. Desirable Criteria: EWP Ticket. Working at Heights WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence. Forklift Licence. Confined Space Fire Sentry certification. Previous experience working on Utilities projects (Highly regarded) First Aid Certificate.
