Job Info Location: OSBORNE PARK, WA Salary: Above Award Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Swan Auto Repair Pty Ltd t/a Swan Auto Repairs Motor Mechanic (ANZSCO: 321211 - MOTOR MECHANIC (GENERAL)) Full-time/Permanent $78,000 - $85,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities: Detecting and diagnosing faults in engine and parts Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers Inspecting and certifying vehicles for road-worthiness Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts Repairing and replacing worn out and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as: oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired Qualifications and Experience: Relevant AQF Cert III including 2 years of on-the-job experience or Cert IV A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience may replace the requirement of having a qualification.
