CatholicCare is looking for a skilled Caseworker to provide outreach, support, and advocacy for youth while strengthening families and communities. Why you’ll love this role: Work 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) in a supportive, values-driven team in Artarmon. Engage directly with young people, schools, and community services. Lead programs and initiatives that prevent harm and build resilience. What You’ll Do: Provide casework support and outreach to young people impacted by drug and alcohol issues. Engage with schools, health services, and community organisations to provide education, prevention, and advocacy. Conduct thorough assessments and deliver tailored interventions to address the needs of young people and their families. Participate in case conferences, protection planning, and school liaison to ensure effective case management. Use trauma-informed, strengths-based approaches to create positive outcomes and safe environments for young people. Deliver and develop group programs that educate, prevent, and reduce risk within the community. What we’re looking for: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, or relevant experience. Trauma-informed, strengths-based casework skills. Knowledge of adolescent development and substance use. Confidence in crisis management and advocacy. Experience delivering group programs.
