MYAC Resources is currently recruiting for multiple experienced Direct Bond Ceramic Liners on behalf of a Western Australian engineering and fabrication company servicing the mining, mineral processing, and heavy industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, our client is expanding its workshop operations and is seeking motivated individuals to join their team on a full-time basis. About the Role Based in a modern Landsdale workshop, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, refurbishment, and quality control of ceramic wear lining systems used in mining and mineral processing equipment. You will work on a variety of projects involving ceramic-lined components, wear packages, chutes, hoppers, pipework, launders, tanks, and other processing equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Install ceramic tiles using direct bond epoxy systems in accordance with specifications and quality requirements. Surface preparation including grinding, cleaning, profiling, and inspection. Apply primers, adhesives, and epoxy systems ensuring correct mixing and application techniques. Cut, shape, and fit ceramic tiles to suit complex wear packages and equipment geometries. Carry out relining, repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance of ceramic-lined components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Operate grinders, ceramic saws, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely. Assist with packing and preparation of completed components for dispatch. Maintain high housekeeping standards and a safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures, SWPs, JHAs, and HSEQ requirements. About You You are a reliable and motivated tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality workmanship. You have experience working with ceramic wear products, epoxy systems, or similar industrial lining applications and enjoy working within a team-focused environment. Skills & Experience Previous experience in Direct Bond Ceramic Lining. Experience working with epoxy systems, adhesives, or industrial wear protection products. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Competent using grinders, cutting equipment, and hand tools. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work to production schedules and deadlines. Physically fit and capable of manual handling activities. Highly Regarded Experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments. Experience with modular lining systems and wear package refurbishment. Forklift operating experience. Experience working alongside fabrication and engineering teams. Trade qualifications in a relevant field.
