SF People is working with a national Employment Services provider who is delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) contract (which replaced the previous DES / Disability Employment Services program). The organisation is a not-for-profit organisation delivering services across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader for the Riverina region in NSW. This is a chance to join this organisation to deliver the IEA contract and work amongst fresh, newly created teams and offices. You will work alongside experienced leaders while delivering the contract and supporting clients. This is a permanent full time opportunity with the ability to start quickly after the recruitment process for the successful candidate. Previous experience working in DES (Disability Employment Services) or other Employment Services programs or government funded contracts is preferable. Previous supervisory, team leadership, management or contract management experience is also preferred as you will be supporting existing teams and reporting to upper management in this role. THE OPPORTUNITY: The Team Leader role is responsible for leading and supporting teams across the region who are involved in the hands-on service delivery of the federal government contracted Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) service. The Team Leader role will involve supporting teams that service clients, ensuring day to day leadership for the region, providing advice and guidance on service delivery, contract management and compliance; assisting with team development, stakeholder management, and community engagement; and ensuring the values of the organisation are upheld through effective delivery of services. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Proven experience working within the Employment Services sector will be highly regarded – ideally within IEA, DES or complementary programs – however experience from other Employment Services programs, Vocational Rehab, Allied Health or transferable skills from complementary sectors will also be considered. People management experience in a previous leadership, supervisory, team leader or management role. The ability to manage and motivate teams remotely and in-person. Experience in compiling reports, and delivering or presenting reports and presentations. Experience working with people to assist them better their life experiences with a focus on employment through further training and education, work trials and employment opportunities. Previous experience in case management, coaching and mentoring one-on-one with individuals or with groups of clients to conduct appointments, coaching, interventions, and group activities is advantageous. Excellent time management skills and the ability to run sessions and appointments to schedule. Keen organisational and communication skills, creating a welcoming, supportive and empowering environment for staff and clients alike. Capable of being attentive, timely, and accurate with administrative tasks. The ability to work towards regular KPIs, targets and/or deadlines. The ability to work autonomously within a team environment, and be a direct line of support for team members across the region. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a full-time permanent role, ideally to be based in Wagga Wagga NSW; Salary for the role will be negotiable based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and fit for the role. Salary package is made up of base salary super company car tools of trade (laptop & mobile phone). Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits are available through this employer.
