Lead Operations in a Well-Established Mental Health Practice An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Practice Manager & Operations Lead to join a growing private mental health clinic in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys improving systems, supporting teams, and delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll work closely with Directors, clinicians, and admin staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy multidisciplinary practice. The Role Lead daily clinic operations across reception, intake, bookings, and administration Manage intake pathways, referrals, waitlists, and clinician schedules Support clinicians with operational and administrative coordination Oversee billing, invoicing, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and reporting Lead and support administration and intake staff Monitor workflows, systems, and operational efficiency Maintain SOPs, templates, and reporting processes Support communication with referrers and external providers About You Previous experience in practice management, healthcare administration, or clinic operations Strong organisational and leadership skills Experience with billing, payroll coordination, reporting, and reconciliations Confident using systems such as Halaxy, Xero, Google Workspace, or similar Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience within psychology, allied health, GP or specialist clinics highly regarded What’s on Offer Senior leadership opportunity within a growing healthcare practice Supportive and collaborative team environment Genuine autonomy and ability to influence operations Varied role combining people, systems, and operational leadership Opportunity to grow into a broader healthcare operations leadership position Modern clinic environment in Bondi Junction HENDERSON HEALTHCARE: We’re a specialist healthcare recruitment agency passionate about matching great clinicians with incredible opportunities.
