We are looking for trade-qualified technicians with strong diagnostic and repair skills who take pride in delivering quality workmanship. The Role Due to expansion and growth of our business, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our Derwent Park Workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on light vehicles. If you're passionate about vehicles, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy solving complex mechanical issues, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair and maintain light vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Conduct routine inspections, servicing and maintenance tasks as required. Perform diagnostic analysis using the latest automotive technology. Ensure accurate record-keeping of all services and repairs performed. Requirements Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic. Light Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate (Cert III or Cert IV Automotive). Valid Australian Driver Licence. Previous mechanical work experience (minimum 2 years post-trade). Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Previous dealership experience (desirable). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
