Job details Mechanic $42.90 per hour base rate penalties Immediate start | Accommodation provided Monday to Friday About our client Our client will allow you to work and live in the heart of Kakadu National Park based at a local service station. What you will need Trade qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent). Experience across a range of Light Vehicle mechanical servicing and repairs. Reliability and availability for on-call roadside assistance. A positive, professional attitude and commitment to great customer service. Experience in a rural or remote workshop (desirable). MR license and experience towing light vehicles (desirable). What you will be doing As a mechanic, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, as well as participate in the on-call roster for AANT roadside assistance. This is a hands-on role where reliability, quality workmanship, and good communication with customers are highly valued.
