The client is looking for a Core Services Specialist for a 12 month contract. Your new role This is a hands-on role focused on the lifecycle management, security, and operational support of core infrastructure platforms across hybrid (on-premise and cloud) environments. You will act as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert, ensuring systems are resilient, secure, and optimised. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure systems Provide Level 2/3 support and lead complex troubleshooting Maintain secure, stable, and high-performing environments Support and optimise server, storage, virtualisation, and cloud platforms Execute patching, upgrades, and change management activities Contribute to automation and DevOps practices Develop and maintain technical standards and documentation What you'll need to succeed Key Skills & Experience CISCO UCS Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure support Expertise across: Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, Identity) Virtualisation (VMware) and enterprise storage Experience with automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible) Solid understanding of networking and security principles Exposure to ITIL/service management environments What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
