Skippers Aviation, WA's Truly Regional Airline, welcomes applicants for the position of Quality & Safety Manager (Airworthiness/Maintenance). Reporting to the Accountable Manager, the Quality & Safety Manager (Airworthiness/Maintenance) will lead and improve the quality and safety systems within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (Part 42 CAMO) and the Approved Maintenance Organisation (Part 145 AMO). Responsibilities: Perform quality and safety functions in accordance with regulatory requirements. Maintain and improve the quality and safety management systems for the CAMO and AMO. Conduct investigations and compliance monitoring. Manage the audit program (internal/external) and perform quality and safety audits. Manage CAMO and AMO authorisations. Manage safety hazards and risks to ensure safe work environment. Promote safety and compliance across the CAMO and AMO. Liaise with the regulator and vendors on quality and safety matters pertaining to CAMO and AMO. Requirements: Possess or be in a position to obtain the necessary qualifications required under the CASR Part 42 and Part 145 to hold the position. Comprehensive knowledge of the relevant regulations. Sound knowledge in quality management and safety management principles and practices. Ability to work independently. Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC). Desirable Qualifications and Experience Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME/AME) Lead Auditor Good understanding of Human factors principles.
