An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team in Malaga. Your main responsibilities will include: Deliver company-wide and divisional financial reporting, analysis and KPI insights to support decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes across the business. Analyse job profitability, gross profit performance, variances and job ageing to identify key trends and risks. Develop, maintain and improve financial models, reports and systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc management reporting packs for senior leaders and key stakeholders. Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial outcomes. Prepare and review financial statements and supporting analysis as required. Provide commercial analysis and financial insights to support pricing, tenders, business cases and operational decisions. Partner with stakeholders across the business to improve financial performance and support strategic initiatives. Identify risks, control gaps and opportunities for standardisation, automation and continuous process improvement. Skills & Experience CA or CPA qualified, with a relevant tertiary degree in finance, accounting, commerce or a related discipline. 6–7 years’ experience in senior financial analysis, management accounting or a similar commercial finance role. Demonstrated experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and management reporting processes. Strong capability in financial modelling, performance reporting, variance analysis and interpreting financial statements. Commercially astute, with the ability to analyse profitability, support pricing and tenders, and provide relevant business insight. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to senior leaders. Highly analytical and systems-focused, with experience improving financial reports, models, processes and controls; audit or Big 4 exposure will be highly regarded.
