Electrician - High-End Residential & Home Automation The Recruit Group is assisting a leading luxury electrical and home automation specialist seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrician. This opportunity has arisen due to significant growth and a strong pipeline of premium residential and automation projects across Sydney. This is a hands-on, role suited to an experienced electrician who can take full ownership of projects, work autonomously, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship without supervision. You will be working across luxury residential builds and architectural renovations, delivering bespoke electrical and integrated smart home automation systems. Projects are located across Sydney's inner CBD fringe, Eastern Suburbs, and Lower North Shore. What You'll Be Doing: Running high-end residential projects from rough-in through to fit-off and commissioning Installing electrical, lighting control, and home automation systems (hands-on role) Interpreting plans, schematics, and automation layouts Coordinating trades and proactively managing workflow on site Liaising with builders, clients, programmers, and project managers Fault-finding, problem-solving, and ensuring projects remain on schedule Commissioning and testing systems to ensure seamless operation Maintaining high-quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and safety requirements Working with Control4, Dynalite, CCTV, audio visual, networking, and integrated smart home systems Requirements: NSW Electrical Licence Minimum 5 years post-trade experience Strong high-end residential experience essential Home automation experience (or similar smart systems) essential Ability to run projects autonomously Experience with home automation systems (Control4, Dynalite, or similar), data/comms, and switchboard upgrades is highly regarded Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000 White Card/ Full Driver's Licence Strong communication and professional presentation What's on Offer: Strong pipeline of premium residential projects Structured systems and well-organised delivery Opportunity for long-term growth and leadership Competitive salary package (negotiable based on experience) If you take pride in delivering high-end electrical and automation work and want ownership of premium residential projects, we'd love to hear from you.
